Dear Friends and valued Customers: We are temporarily suspending our Shopify store due to Shopify's insistence that we prove that our products are "legitimate". Given that More Than Pokémon will be vending at the Fort Lauderdale (Miami) Collect-a-Con this weekend (February 21 and 22), and at the Palm Beach Card show the following weekend (February 28 and March 1), we do not presently have the time to respond to these unreasonable demands within the next six days as insisted upon according the notice that we received from Shopify on Thursday, February 19. We hope to be able to return to the Shopify platform, but for the near future, we need to suspend our taking of orders on Shopify. I have read the postings of other Shopify store owners who have received similar notifications from Shopify in the past, and many have stated that Shopify can suspend payments to store owners if they choose to do so. Therefore, we can not offer products for sale through Shopify if there is any possibility that Shopify will refuse to make payments to us for merchandise that is purchased by our customers through their platform. We hope to be able to return to Shopify, but that probably will not happen if they insist that we provide purchase receipts to them, which is their current demand. In the meantime, I invite you to join us on Whatnot for the streams and the shop that we have on that platform. So, please use the below link to find us on Whatnot, and please let us know that you are a Shopify customer of ours. https://www.whatnot.com/s/TeIG8fpV I sincerely apologize for this development, but Shopify is forcing our hand. We hope to see you on Whatnot. - Jim Brumbaugh, Owner and CEO, More Than Pokémon
